Capturing the Spirit of Learning at Solid Roots Academy

Hey there! 🌟 I’m super excited to share my recent adventure with **Solid Roots Academy**, a truly amazing educational gem located in Glendale, Arizona! This isn’t just any school; it’s a place where young minds blossom into confident, capable heroes! As part of the Acton Imprimis model, Solid Roots offers a fantastic homeschool hybrid program that strikes the perfect balance between the freedom of homeschooling and the community vibe of in-person learning.

I had the pleasure of teaming up with the wonderful director, who wanted to refresh their website with real, vibrant photos that genuinely reflect the school’s spirit—out with the stock images and in with the real deal! 🎉 During my visit, I captured all the magic happening at Solid Roots. From stunning shots of the school’s welcoming building to heartwarming moments of the director interacting with the kiddos, I aimed to showcase the true essence of this incredible place.

One of my favorite parts? Snapping candid moments of the students working together to design their boats for a competition! 🚤💡 Their creativity and teamwork really shine through in these photos, and they perfectly embody the strong sense of community that Solid Roots Academy nurtures.

My mission was to give future families a sneak peek into what a day in the life at Solid Roots Academy looks like. I want to show them the smiles, the laughter, and the hands-on learning experiences that make this school so special. Rather than relying on generic stock photos, I aimed to capture the authentic interactions and vibrant energy that fill the halls. After all, every child deserves to see themselves thriving in a loving and supportive environment!

The Shoemaker family, who leads this fantastic school, has such an inspiring story. After exploring various educational paths, they found their calling in the Acton model. They’re passionate about empowering children to discover their unique paths while building character and leadership skills—how amazing is that?!

With a focus on self-paced learning, Socratic discussions, and real-world experiences, students here truly take ownership of their educational journeys.
